Is an Apple iPhone, a Windows Phone, a Nokia Lumia, a Samsung Galaxy or an HTC Droid or One X on your Santa Claus list?
No? Well how about this: do you happen to have any old cell phones banging around in a junk drawer somewhere?
Why not recycle your old cell phone to help animals in need. Recycling cell phones also keeps them out of landfills, thereby helping the environment. Double bonus!

The Petco Foundation is collecting and recycling old cell phones to aid in their mission of raising the quality of life for pets and the people who need them. Proceeds from the donated phones help reduce the number of animals euthanized, rescue animals in crisis, provide lifesaving vaccinations for homeless pets, and rehabilitate pets with behavioral issues.
- Place used phones and accessories in an envelope or small box. (If battery is not attached to phone, place tape over terminal ends.)
- Affix postage-paid mailing label to package (click HERE for a prepaid mailing label)
- Seal package and place in mailbox.
- Feel good about yourself! You just helped animals, the environment and your junk drawer.
